Rock Dam Campground
Rock Dam offers modern camping and many recreation choices which provide for multi-season outdoor experiences. Direct access to the ATV trails from your campsite provides a unique camp and ride opportunity. The associated Rock Dam Lake offers substantial opportunity for water-based recreation and relaxation. Rock Dam day use area, with it's sand beach, is the go to location to beat the summer heat.

Campground is open yearly May 1st through September 30th for advance or walk-in reservations. Self-registration camping is available throughout the remainder of the year but please note that campground facilities are extremely limited during this time and we cannot guarantee access during these months. Snyder Park and Rock Dam are the only county campgrounds that have a heated shower building open through the end of November for the gun deer hunting season.
